At just 18 years of age (now 19), Bianca Andreescu has been one of the most interesting players on the WTA tours at the beginning of the season especially after her mesmerizing run in Indian Wells where she won the title coming absolutely from nowhere.

Unfortunately, Bianca was then sidelined by an injury to her shoulder that made her retire during the 4th round in Miami and play just 1 match during the clay-court season and on grass.

Bianca is finally back on tour and she played her first match on Tuesday in Toronto at the Rogers Cup when she defeated her fellow countrywoman Genie Bouchard 4-6 6-1 6-4.
